Balancing your ambition & a busy schedule

Today's Takeaway:

There is power in doable weekly actions 🩷

Hey Reader!

My friend Amy has a very full schedule. She's a mom, wife, friend, sister, daughter, entrepreneur, podcast host....the list can go on and on.

I say this because she's like you. Ambitious but also very freaking busy.

Last year she asked if I'd consider coaching her and it's been an absolute blast seeing her stay focused and achieve her goals. In the last 6 months she has:

  • Successfully launched a new business
  • Rebranded her podcast and increased downloads by 2%
  • Is at 17% of her annual revenue goal for the new business
  • Traveled 5 times
  • Been sick once and had a sick kiddo several times
  • Navigated surprise snow and tornado days

Plus many other things but the point I'm making is this...achieving your goals is possible even when you're busy as long as you set doable actions for yourself.

In this week's podcast episode Amy pulls back the curtain on what it was like to hire a friend as her coach and how we worked to set realistic weekly actions to help her stay focused. Enjoy!

Today's Takeaway: The right coach helps you hit the fast-forward button 🩷 Hey Reader! A new connection of mine said "Amanda, I know coaching works but money feels different now that I'm an entrepreneur. How do you know if it's the right time and the right coach?" Instead of only answering her, this conversation is on the podcast because I know other people are wondering this too (maybe you)! We talk through these questions as well as how she knows coaching works because my guest, Chelsea...

Today's Takeaway: Spring Cleaning is for your business too 🩷 Hey Reader! Reminder: Beware of April Fool's jokes today but this email isn't one of them 🤣 All joking aside, this is the time of year that we often clean out our homes and refresh the landscaping outside or just want to be in the sunshine more. But I want you to think about Spring Cleaning your business too! In this week's episode I walk you through a step-by-step process to declutter and refresh your business—whether it’s spring...

Today's Takeaway: Today's actions impact tomorrow's results 🩷 Hey Reader! I had a local news feature that led to $3K in revenue within a week. While that sentence is powerful, it doesn't show you all the effort that went into that result. It was actually the result of months of strategic actions. And that's what I'm sharing in this week's podcast episode... Your actions today impact results not only tomorrow but months down the road. I walk you through a powerful question to assess whether...
